Mesivta of Greater Los Angeles is a private, all-boys, Jewish boarding school located in Calabasas, CA that serves 59 students in grades 9-12. The school is affiliated with the National Society of Hebrew Day Schools (NSHDS) and the Other school association(s). With a student-teacher ratio of 6 to 1, Mesivta of Greater Los Angeles is dedicated to challenging shiurims, providing a fully-accredited general studies program, and offering opportunities for motivated talmidim.

Michudadim Beficha Program

Mesivta of Greater Los Angeles is proud of its Michudadim Beficha program dedicated to the memory of Mr. Sol and Mrs. Clara Kest. The program offers advanced Judaic learning, weekly shiurim, and chavrusas, as well as in-depth study in Halacha and Jewish philosophy. The intensive program provides an advanced level of spiritual and intellectual enrichment for students.

General Studies Program

In addition to the Michudadim Beficha program, the Mesivta of Greater Los Angeles offers a fully-accredited general studies program that includes the core subject areas such as sciences and mathematics, as well as electives such as art, music, performing arts, and physical education. The general studies program focuses on developing students’ knowledge and skills—and also on helping them explore their natural and developed interests. The teachers at Mesivta leverage technology, project-based learning, creative inquiry, and problem-solving skills to offer meaningful experiences to the students.

Tuition & Financial Aid

Tuition costs vary depending on the student’s grade level, with the 2020-2021 rate for grades 9 and 10 totaling $44,000. Financial aid may be available for qualifying families.
